Lev Laugh Love | Episode 1 | Bamidorov Zsvatzsegh [tomato and egg] Breakfast Burrito

Ingredients:

Basturma

Piknik Cheese

Arabi Hats [pita bread

3 Tomatoes

4 Eggs

Yellow Onion

Dill

Purple Basil

Parsley

Cilantro

Anaheim Pepper (or any green pepper you like)

Tomato Paste

Pepper Paste

Step 1:

Peel the tomatoes the french way!

Boil a pot of water.

Slice an X shape on the bottom of the tomato.

Place tomatoes in boiling water.

When the skin starts to peel off from the X we sliced, dump the tomatoes in an ice bath.

Step 2:

Cut your tomatoes in awkward shapes like little triangles, slices, dices, or whatever else you prefer.

Remember, it’s your kitchen. We’re just living in it, or you're just inviting us to eat in it.

Step 3:

Onions, cut them up. Remember, the more onions you add the bigger your boobs will get. Allegedly…

Step 4:

Heat up a pan. Add olive oil and butter.

Step 5:

Once the butter and oil heat up add in the onions. Season with salt, halebi biber, and black pepper.

Step 6:

Cut your green peppers into triangles and add them into the pan.

Step 7:

Add in tomato and pepper paste. Use atchki chap to decide what your dish needs.

Step 8:

Add in the tomatoes. Stir every 5 minutes to break down but not destroy the tomatoes.

Step 9:

Optional step to add a pinch of MSG. Your kitchen, your rules.

Step 10:

Time for the herbs - parsley, basil, dill, cilantro and whatever else you like. Chop them all together. Let them get to know each other.

Step 11:

Time to break out the fine dining…eggs. Crack four eggs into a bowl and whisk them together. Add black pepper and a touch of halebi biber.

*Remember to check on your tomatoes.

Step 12:

When your tomatoes are looking sauc-y, soft, and yummy slowly drizzle your eggs around and sprinkle all your herbs around. Put the lid on and let it simmer.

Step 13:

Heat up the pita bread on your stove stop. Add a nice chunk of the tomato and eggs on top of the pita bread. Add in piknik cheese, and finally the basturma.

Step 14:

Wrap it all up like a burrito and cut down the middle. And you're done!
