Untold Stories of 7 Armenian Soldiers from the Artsakh War

Not every soldier lives to tell their story.

In the aftermath of the 44-day Artsakh war, filmmaker Blue Kalamian booked a last-minute flight to Armenia to assist those in need, particularly wounded soldiers.

We start with a veteran of all three wars who resided in Artsakh when he had to safely displace his daughter and wife to another city at the beginning of the attacks. He and his son stayed behind to fight and defend their home. 19 year old David and 39 year Avetiq share their story of being attacked by Azeri drones in combat while being treated for their injuries at 8th Hospital in Yerevan.

The 44-day Artsakh war began on September 27, 2020 and cost the lives of 4,000 soldiers and sustained 11,000 casualties. Armenians both young and old uprooted their lives and sacrificed themselves for the safety of their homeland. 

These are the untold stories of seven of those soldiers.
